Learning at Grange Primary

At Grange Primary Academy we believe in the concept of lifelong learning and the idea that both adults and pupils learn new things every day. We feel that learning should be a rewarding and engaging experience for everyone.

Therefore, through high-quality teaching we equip pupils with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to be able to make informed choices about the important things in their lives. Through positive, high-quality learning experiences our children have the opportunity to contribute and participate in the local and wider community.

All pupils follow the statutory requirements of the Foundation Stage and National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 & 2. Through access to the curriculum, children learn effectively and make good progress throughout the school. Extra-curricular opportunities are offered wherever possible to enhance pupil’s knowledge, skills and understanding.

Our aspiration is to enable all of our pupils to develop their potential as successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens who are ready for the next stage in their education. Our intention is that every pupil will look back on their time at Grange Primary Academy with pride. To achieve this,  we provide a broad and balanced curriculum.
