At Grange Primary Academy we are forunate enough to be involved in the Votes For Schools programme.

Votes For Schools is a weekly current affairs voting platform designed to engage young people in political, moral and social issues. Through weekly debating and voting, not only are our pupils learning about the world around them, they are becoming prepared for participating in our democratic processes.

Our pupils  learn about, and discuss a Vote Topic each week as part our Monday whole school assembly and then in a smaller, class session, before coming together in our Friday Celebration Assembly  to share their personal and collective opinion through a democratic voting process.  We can then compare our voting trend with that in the rest of Northamptonshire and also with the rest of the UK.
