Grange Primary Academy Uniform Policy

It is our policy that all children should wear clothing that is in keeping with a purposeful learning ethos. We also believe it is important that certain activities are facilitated by specialised and appropriate clothing when attending school, or when participating in a school-organised event outside normal hours.  Please see the list below.

Boys

Navy blue sweatshirt with school logo.

Red polo shirt with school logo.

Black or grey trousers (or shorts in summer).

Black shoes (no trainers)

Girls

Navy blue sweatshirt/cardigan with school logo.

Red polo shirt with school logo.

Black or grey skirt, trousers or pinafore dress.

Red or blue gingham dresses may be worn in summer term.

Black shoes (no trainers)

PE

Navy t-shirt with school logo and team logo

Navy PE shorts

Navy hoody and joggers with school logo

Black plimsolls for inside use, trainers may be worn outside.

Jewellery

On health and safety grounds we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school, apart from studs in pierced ears (should be removed for PE activities)  If you are planning on getting your child's ears pierced, it is suggested to do so at the start of the summer holidays.

Hairstyles/Accessories

Hairstyles - the school does not permit extreme hair styles or colours.
Hair accessories - any hair accessories such as hair bands or bobbles must be plain and simple.


All children should wear their PE kits to school on PE days. 

All clothing should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.
